We are very proud to announce that Quiver Management hasĀ achieved Approved ILM Centre status, enabling us to train our clients for prestigious qualifications in leadership and management.

For the past five years we have been providing internationally recognised qualification training in coaching and mentoring, receiving three European Quality Awards in the process.

Demand for all our training services – in leadership and management as well as coaching and mentoring – has grown rapidly during this time. With the Approved ILM Centre status we now also have recognition for the equally high quality of our leadership and management training.

Our qualification programmes are now accredited by the UK’s largest management body, the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM).

The ILM’s primary purpose is to improve the standards of leadership and management in order to drive social and economic prosperity.

We chose to work with the ILM as its values are aligned with our own and its approach enables us to provide highly flexible training programmes with an extensive range of units.

We have the ability to tailor the training, assignments and support to provide solutions which suit the organisation’s specific needs and aspirations.

Benefits for organisations

We currently offer a choice of ILM Level 5 Award and Level 5 Certificate qualifications as tailored in-house programmes for organisations, for which the benefits include:

  • encouraging strategic thinking at this level of management to foster business improvement
  • engaging middle managers with training and development
  • customising this qualification to the development needs of your organisation
  • embedding the new skills in the workplace through work based assignments

Benefits for individuals

Individuals can benefit in the following ways:

  • better results driven by the use of core management techniques
  • development of your ability to lead, motivate and inspire
  • provision of strategic leadership as well as day-to-day management
  • a benchmark for your management skills
  • raising your profile in your organisation

Structure

The qualifications are made up of a broad range of units covering skills in six core areas:

  • working with people
  • managing yourself and personal skills
  • providing direction
  • facilitation of innovation and change
  • achieving results
  • using resources

The flexibility in unit choices allows the qualifications to be tailored to meet the needs of the organisation and the individual, with progression from Award to Certificate and from there to Diploma and other ILM qualifications.
Training Design

The training consists of:

    • classroom-based workshops with a mix of theory, discussion and practical exercises
    • work-based assignments and project work
    • group and individual tutor support
    • assessments

Quiver Management’s training designers will, together with the organisation, design a programme of workshops, assignments and other supporting activities to lift the capabilities of their leadership talent.

The programmes will typically take place over 6 or 12 months, and may also include non-ILM training workshops designed specifically for the organisation.
