We would like to introduce Dave Henson, the latest qualified and experienced coach to join the Quiver Management team.

Dave’s arrival also heralds the beginning of plans for exciting international expansion at Quiver Management.

The first step is close to home. Dave is based in Cardiff and will help develop business leaders in the city and across South Wales.

But his regular job is as managing director of WE Bridge, an English language academy with a specific vision of bridging business, language and culture internationally.

Under Dave’s management WE Bridge has grown in the past year from 10 to 100 students in 17 countries and, allied with his experience helping business leaders in Russia (I first met him a couple of years ago shortly after he had returned from seven years in St Petersburg) our collaboration means Quiver Management can reach into places like the Middle East, North Africa and Asia, as well as Eastern Europe.

“Cross-cultural coaching is quite a new field,” Dave says. “But coaching as a practice is all about listening skills and the ability to ask the right questions. When you’re doing that in an international setting you have to simplify things. And I would say it’s a very transferable skill.

“Working with Jan, our long-term goal is to deliver coaching online and on-site to a wide range of international clients and in regions where coaching is not always well-known – yet! It’s going to take us a while to get there but it’s going to happen. It’s just a matter of time.”
