July 25th, 2012 we were informed by the EMCC (the European Mentoring and Coaching Council, the leading professional body for coaching and mentoring in Europe) that we have won our 3rd European Quality Award and that our Coach and Mentor Practitioner course is now accredited.
Hurray!!
20 months journey
The development of our Practitioner Diploma programme started with a meeting between Ned Skelton and me on December 1st, 2010 to discuss our vision for the course and the fundamental course design principles.
So it has been a long and at times challenging journey, as we pushed the boundaries to create an innovative, efficient, practical and high quality programme that we could be really proud off.
Taking coaching and mentoring to the next level
The Diploma programme is designed for professional coach/mentors with a growing client base, and for in-house coach/mentors who wish to take their competence and qualification to the next level. It builds on Quiver Management’s Certificate courses which are also accredited by the EMCC.
The 6-month programme consists of
– 2 day intensive skills training workshop
– Coaching practice
– 1-day tutorial workshop
– Research project
– Webinars
– Group and 1:1 supervision sessions
– Feedback and assessment
Thank you’s
So, well done to Ned for developing a great Diploma programme. Thank you also to the 14 programme participants and to the EMCC assessors for your feedback, input and ideas, which all helped to shape a great, innovative, high quality qualification programme.
