I have 15 years’ senior management experience from blue chip corporations in the UK, Denmark and USA and 14 years as an executive coach and management consultant. My particular area of expertise is in change leadership and building high performing leadership teams, both from executive and consultancy roles.
During a successful senior management career, I became renowned for my ability to initiate and lead transformative change programmes within large international companies. This led to me implementing a turnaround of an international US-based organisation in my role there as CEO.
I went on to co-found JBBI, a change leadership consultancy, and as CEO helped build this into a thriving consultancy with offices across the UK, Scandinavia and Germany before leaving to set up Quiver Management.
As a very experienced executive and business coach, I have over the last fourteen years, coached a large number of senior executives in FTSE 100 companies as well as numerous business owners and entrepreneurs.
In addition to being a qualified Senior Practitioner in Coaching and Mentoring and a Fellow of the Institute of Leadership and Management, I hold an MBA from Henley Management College and a BSc from the Danish Engineering Academy.
I bring extensive leadership experience from a wide variety of sectors and roles including general management, finance and marketing.
I have gained deep multi-cultural insight through working at senior management level for UK, Japanese, French, Australian and Danish blue-chip companies and public sector organisations – as well as living and working for more than 9 years in continental Europe and North America.
After 9 years abroad I returned to the UK in 2002 to set up Quiver Management together with Jan. I have been a consultant for more than 8 years, and specialise in coaching senior managers, developing leadership teams and organisational assessment and development.
In addition to my coach and mentor qualifications, I have a degree in Economics and am a Certified Master Management Personality Analysis user.
I have over 15 years of commercial and cross-cultural experience in project management and leadership training. I have spent much of the past decade developing leaders to be effective in Russia and Eastern Europe and so bring considerable international experience to Quiver Management.
I am co-owner and Managing Director of WE Bridge International Ltd, an innovative English language academy with specific vision of bridging business, language and culture internationally. In the year since managing the business it has grown tenfold and now trains more than 100 mature students at any time from over 15 different countries.
Based in Cardiff, I play a key part in Quiver Management’s plans to develop its business across Europe and further afield. I will help deliver coaching programmes in Wales, England and into new places like the Middle East, North Africa, Asia and Eastern Europe.

In addition to being a qualified Corporate and Executive Coach, I also have a Masters in Marketing and am a Chartered Marketer, with a further qualification in Advanced Business Strategy from Cranfield University and Ashridge College.
I established my own financial services company, Ovation Finance Ltd, in 2000 and have since built it into a highly successful business. With a strong team behind me, I have been able to step back from operational management and focus more time on my other interests which include writing novels (my first novel, A Bridge of Straw, was published in 2013), playing guitar in the band Mangetout and business coaching.
I have always provided financial planning based upon helping the client to understand their own relationship with their wealth. By asking questions such as “How much is enough for you?” clients often leave a meeting understanding themselves better and making major decisions about their lives that they did not know were possible. More than one client has retired or sold their business as a result of our meetings.
It was therefore a logical step when I decided in 2010 to formally train as a business coach. I am now a Diploma qualified business coach, and work mainly (but not exclusively) with business owners.
I wrote The Financial Wellbeing Book after being inspired by the Whole Person approach to cancer care of the Penny Brohn UK cancer centre (who receive all my proceeds from the book). The book helps people produce a practical financial plan but, crucially, one that is based upon making them happier not just wealthier. http://www.financialwell-being.co.uk/
