Mentoring is becoming an essential skill set for the modern leader in law firms, as well as in-house lawyers, to help them develop the performance of their trainees, junior solicitors and talented team members.

As lawyers progress in their careers they need to not only continuously develop their technical skills and know-how, but also their interpersonal, leadership and strategic skills.

Leading, developing and motivating people, strategic thinking and business acumen are essential competencies of a successful leader in today’s law practice.
